Reasons for B3
Custom software. Personal support. Quality that inspires.
Experts in custom software
Software is our world. Everything we do, we do with passion and technical excellence – and you can tell. When off‑the‑shelf solutions don’t fit your specific needs, we develop tailor‑made software with you. Whether process automation, data analytics or bespoke applications – your processes and requirements are at the center.

We offer more than software development
- Custom software that works today and is extendable tomorrow
- Trust & transparency so that digitalization doesn’t become a risk
- Pragmatism over bureaucracy – solutions that truly help
With us, things never get complicated or needlessly bureaucratic. We think pragmatically, act solution‑oriented and bring years of experience.
Our aspiration: High‑quality software that works, adapts and delivers long‑term value.
We live quality
- well‑thought‑out concepts
- sustainable architectures
- software that still convinces tomorrow

AI as the fourth building block
- First, tidy up the data
- Then connect systems
- Optimize processes – and then apply AI purposefully
This creates a clear path: from stable software via clean data to truly usable AI.
Custom software
Efficiency and quality through smart automation and digital solutions: With tailor‑made software we simplify your daily workflows, increase productivity and reduce errors early.
Data analytics & AI
A solid foundation for your business decisions through our expertise and your domain knowledge: You have
valuable data — we help you organize and analyze it and make it usable step by step with the help of AI.
From tidying up the data basement to practical AI applications, we accompany you as far as makes
sense for your business.
Consulting and training
Do you need detailed knowledge about new technologies or support deciding on innovations? Together we look behind
the scenes.
Whether traditional software, data analytics or AI — we show in practice how new
technologies create real value.

Data analytics & AI
A solid foundation for your business decisions through our expertise and your domain knowledge: You have valuable data and deep domain insight — we are experts in data collection, storage and analysis. Together we uncover the hidden potential of your data.
Consulting and training
Do you need in‑depth knowledge about new technologies or support deciding on innovations? Together we look behind the scenes. Confident use of new technologies is crucial for efficient processes, motivated employees and avoiding far‑reaching mistakes. We provide hands‑on consulting and training to get the most out of the technologies you use.
Technologies and experience
Backend
.NET is our home. We are experts in ASP.NET Core and have proven in many projects how flexible and powerful this stack is. Our deep understanding of the platform lets us build tailored and scalable solutions for diverse requirements.

Database and message bus
Choosing the right database and communication is crucial for performance and scalability. We know the
strengths and use‑cases of different technologies and help you find the optimal solution for your needs.
From relational databases to column stores, time‑series databases and persisted streams — we know the
pros and cons.

Frontend
Even though our focus is on the backend, we have built many modern web applications. With Angular, React and Blazor we rely on proven frameworks to deliver fast and intuitive user interfaces.

Desktop
Web technologies dominate, but native desktop apps still have their place — especially for hardware‑related~~~~ development or long‑lived, resource‑efficient applications. We have experience with WPF and Avalonia and know when a desktop solution is the best choice.

Data analytics
Data is valuable — if you use it right. We perform statistical analyses, visualize insights in interactive charts and rely on modern methods of data processing and modeling.

Hosting
On‑premises or in the cloud? Native or in containers? Stand‑alone application or inside a web server? There are many ways to build infrastructure — and we have hands‑on experience with many of them.

The Team
Three brothers, one passion
Andreas
I consciously chose not to start my career as a software developer and studied mechanical engineering instead. Passion was there as well, and I wanted to build my own knowledge apart from what my brothers did. In my first internship reality caught up with me: cooling circuits were calculated using poorly configured Excel sheets — inefficient and error‑prone. After a short presentation to my boss my responsibilities were redefined: I developed my first software to calculate flow resistances in the .NET Framework.
My first employment as a development and simulation engineer went similarly. The management of hundreds of thousands of CAD files and documentation was done manually — until I proposed a solution again. What began with 20% software development quickly became my main task.
Eventually I chose self‑employment as a software developer. Since then I’ve worked in various projects, industries and team sizes, developing software and consulting companies — always with the goal of increasing efficiency through tailor‑made digital tools.
Peter
I sold my first software as a student — Snowboard.net together with Tobias — which laid the foundation for my first company dbnetsoft. During my physics studies I wrote and operated software for various sports events and live TV productions. I gained experience with software that simply has to work on a specific date — this still influences my way of working today.
During my diploma thesis on sensor data fusion I discovered my interest in statistics and data processing. After graduating I worked for two years at the Institute for Statistical Bioinformatics with Professor Spang in Regensburg and learned a lot about data analysis. The search for structured software development then led me into industry. At evopro AG, then a small company for special‑purpose machinery, I had the chance to build up and lead a software development department. We were able to realize many different projects with our customers — from desktop applications to control test systems to distributed systems for lab logistics and data analysis and a product for material flow tracking in pressing plants in the automotive industry.
To shift my focus from organizational tasks back towards software development, I moved to Syskron GmbH, the software subsidiary of Krones AG, in 2024.
With the founding of B3 I’m excited to develop high‑quality software in a small team. I’m curious which problems we’ll be able to solve together with and for our customers.
Robert
Already during my physics studies it became clear to me that my true passion lies in software development. So I started a working student position at “evopro” and focused on the broad range of computer science courses at the university.
After my bachelor’s degree, I fully dedicated myself to software development. In addition to my full‑time job at evopro, I worked as a freelancer with Tobi from dbnetsoft to build custom solutions for sports events with live TV productions. Two years later the workload became too high, so I had to choose — and I chose self‑employment.
In numerous projects of various kinds I was able to work with different technologies, processes and team setups and actively shape them. Nevertheless many projects face similar challenges: a hasty start, teams growing too fast, and a lack of commitment to clean‑code principles. To address this, I focused on software architecture, coaching and clear communication.
